說故事的「人們」：在照顧好別人之前

人文創新與社會實踐計畫，致力於讓大學走入社區，與地方伙伴一同合作，共同發現並解決在地問題。本研究以某醫學大學為例，其研究主題為思考高齡化社會中老年照顧的另類可能。照顧研究讓我們知道，在照顧關係中不只要照顧被照顧者，照顧者同樣需要獲得照顧。過去對於人社計畫的討論多半側重在觀察場域，說著別人的故事，卻鮮少觀察自身，說說自己人的故事。本文基於一次團隊內部的設計思考工作坊活動，展開對於團隊自身的集體自我診斷與反思。診斷與反思的問題是：為什麼這個團隊的人員流動如此頻繁？研究發現，問題的發生至少涉及三個不同但交疊影響的結構層次，包括體制支持有限、團隊內部溝通不良、工作者不受肯定。本文期許，在照顧好別人之前，應該先照顧好自己。人社計畫團隊的實踐或許需要更多從自身做起的創新。

The Humanity Innovation and Social Practice (HISP) project is dedicated to developing strategic programmes of community-university engagement, initiating universities to work with local partners to identify and solve local problems. The researchers from a medical university aim to envision the alternatives of elderly care in an ageing society. Many care studies show that in the care relationship, it is not only the care recipients, but also the caregivers who equally need to be cared for. Most of the discussions under the HISP project in the past have focused exclusively on observations in the field, on talking about others'stories. In contradiction, it is rare for those who told these stories to tell their own stories. This article, based on a design-thinking workshop organized by the research team of that university, intends to develop a collective self-diagnosis and reflection for the team. The key question underlying our reflections is: Why has been there such a high staff turnover rate in this team? The study shows that the problem involves at least three different yet overlapping structural levels: limited institutional supports, communication gaps within the team, and unrecognized workers. We should take care of ourselves before taking good care of others. The HISP team thus needs more innovations from its own practices.
