The Current Status of Life Satisfaction of Lgbtq+ Community 16-19 Years Old in Vietnam
Abstracts
The study explores the current status of life satisfaction of LGBTQ+community in 5 dimensions: Family, Friends, Self, School and Living Environment based on the MSLSS Scale that was developed by Dr. Huynh Mai Trang (2022). The sample was selected using the convenience sampling method of 58 LGBTQ+ individuals from LGBTQ+ community, aged 16 - 19, used in the process of analyzing and evaluating the scale through Cronbach's Alpha reliability coefficient, test the hypotheses. Research results show that there are 5 factors that affect the life satisfaction of LGBTQ+ individuals from 16-19 years old: "Family, Friends, Self, School and Living Environment", in which the main factors are: The factor "Friends" is the factor that has the strongest impact on life satisfaction of gay people. From the research results, the author suggests some recommendations to improve and increase the level of satisfaction in the lives of LGBTQ+ individuals.
