Abraham plays a vital role in the history of the people of Israel - God called him, established a covenant with him, and thus chose his descendants. He is also revered as the patriarch of the nation of Israel. Christians consider him as a model of faith. But do we really see his difficult life that lies behind these glamorous "titles"? This article invites the readers to join the faith journey of Abraham with its ups and downs via the method of narratology. It begins with Abraham's migration with his father until his arrival in the Promised Land, followed by the birth of God's promised son, Isaac and his sacrifice and Abraham's death. By studying the call of God and the answer of Abraham - his faith journey, the purpose of this article is to bring the reader to reflect on Christian faith today.
