Plume is formed by the condensation of warm and humid air from the discharge of the cooling tower. It usually occurs in coldand humid weather and is surely harmless to people and the environment, but sometimes it can,however, cause problems. The purpose of this paper is to explain the cause, the potential effects and the prevention of the plume.
