The paper aimed to explore the core content and significance of the pre-service teacher education system in elementary schools from the perspective of curriculum and pedagogy. Firstly, it emphasized the crucial role of teacher education in enhancing educational quality, ensuring equity, and promoting societal development. Secondly, it comprehensively analyzed various aspects of the education system, including its historical evolution, objectives, and curriculum structure. The primary goal of teacher education curriculum is to cultivate teachers with excellent professional qualities, teaching skills, and educational philosophies to meet the needs of the education system and students. The curriculum objectives encompass aspects such as educational philosophies, teaching abilities, professional growth, interdisciplinary perspectives, and leadership skills.
