摘要

司馬遷十歲起拜當代名師讀萬卷書，二十歲起行萬里路，三十五歲因公務行程出使西南夷，後來隨漢武帝登泰山封禪；他心目中隱然為立功而努力，不意在四十八歲當太史令那年，因李陵事件在朝廷公然發言不當，而下罪受審而重挫，轉向著書立言，完成《史記》巨著，終成一家之言。
