Looking at the "Malay Annals" and the "Ming Dynasty Records", the "Malay Annals" did not mention MingChenzu not Zheng He but the narrative of the annal is based on Princess Hang Li Po when describing the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Malacca Sultanate and the Ming Dynasty. The annal narrates how the Chinese emperor recalled the common ancestry of both sides, admired the power of Malacca, actively sent envoys for diplomatic relations, and even sent a princess for marriage to the sultan. Looking at the history of the "Malays Annals", the narrative of the book occurred during the hundred years of resistance after the fall of Malacca's capital, with legendary figures' descendants still involved in politics. Therefore, it is worth considering that this historical legend reflects the vicissitudes of the Malay world's resistance to Western aggression. The narrative based on Princess Hang Li Po contains many legends and metaphors, presenting an incomplete memory of maritime narratives that combines imagination, construction, mythology, and legends. It expresses the desire for equal prosperity between the "brotherly nations," cherishing the continuous support of the Ming Dynasty while lamenting its inability to support the restoration of the country. After the independence of Malaysia, the story of "Princess Hang Li Po" has been included in the Chinese primary schools textbooks for a long time, and also been repeatedly re-imagined and transformed its impression by a lot of Chinese literati. Later, the tourism discourse has produced various contemporary versions of the story of "Princess Han Li Po" which are different from the memory context of the "Malay Annals" .
