數位傢飾布料3D可視化應用於室內設計之研究-以沙發設計為例

3D Visualization of Digital Home Furnishing Fabrics in Interior Design - A Study of Upholstery Design

摘要


元宇宙是虛擬實境,透過手機、個人電腦和電子遊戲主機,人們得以進入的虛擬世界。拓展元宇宙在數位布料的應用上,借助數位布料的新科技與多樣性,能够在專業领域幫助室內設計師,更精準高效地搜尋到合宜的布料,包括質地、色彩及功能,能滿足並符合客戶的需求,更貼近他們的期待。本研究是以2021年迅速發展的元宇宙科技,探討「數位布料」(Digital Fabric)應用於室內傢飾布料的設計,進行個案探討。藉由分析「3D可視化」及「數位布料」的發展現況與優勢,透過3D建模功能,將3D模型轉換為2D圖像,室內設計師能立即使用線上的「數位布料」圖像來做設計,取代要等待且耗時費力尋找最適的傳統布樣。並利用這些圖像的逼真度,以利與客戶溝通。本研究將以Acaciaonline系統上的數位傢飾布料為研究樣本並進行專家訪談,藉由這些受訪專家的實際操作運用,比較在平板電腦上所呈現的「數位布料」與實際布料,在質感與色彩上的相仿度與差異性给予回饋意見。研究結果顯示,以實證歸納出數位傢飾布料科技,為室內設計師與客戶在沙發布料選配上,取代傳統布料往來確認曠日費時,提升客戶滿意度,降低交易成本,並能增強數位傢飾布料技術在元宇宙與實體世界的應用價值。

The Metaverse is virtual reality. It is a virtual world that people enter through their cell phones, computers, and video game consoles. Applying the Metaverse to digital fabrics with the help of new technology can help facilitate interior designers to find the most suitable furnishing fabrics in texture, color, and function. As a result, interior designers will be able to meet their customers' needs and expectations with more accuracy and efficiency. Considering the backdrop of the rapidly developing technology of the metaverse in 2021, this research explores the application of "Digital Fabric," applies it to interior home fabric design furnishings, and conducts a case study. By analyzing the development status and advantages of "3D visualization" and "Digital Fabric" through the 3D modeling function converted from a 2D image, interior designers can immediately use the online "digital fabric" image to create designs, instead of conducting the time-consuming process of selecting physical fabrics. Further, the access and readability of these digital images allow for easy communication with customers. The digital home furnishing fabrics on the Acaciaonline system are shown as digital samples during the expert interviews. Through the interviewers' hands-on operation of the system via tablet computers, a comparison of the difference in the texture and color between the digital fabrics and the physical fabrics is discernible. The research results provide the empirical evidence that the digital home furnishing fabric technology can replace the time-consuming confirmation process of traditional sofa fabric for interior designers and customers, enhance customer satisfaction, reduce transaction costs, and demonstrate the technological value of digital home furnishing fabrics applied both in the Metaverse and the real world.
