Exploring the Customization of Farewell Ceremony from the Perspective of Funeral Service

摘要

For this article, there is a new trend in funeral services in recent years, which is the trend of customization. This trend is different from traditional funeral services, it is not a standardized service. Even so, there is no standard for this service, it seems that as long as it is different from the traditional standardized service, it can be regarded as customized service. The problem is that funeral services are different from general services. Their services have their own purposes, that is, to help family members and the deceased resolve the problems caused by death, especially during the farewell ceremony. Therefore, based on this purpose, this article hopes to solve the problem of customization in farewell ceremony through the reflection on the problem of customization. In order to achieve this purpose, this article is divided into several parts for discussion. First of all, we explain the reasons why this issue is discussed and the methods used. Secondly, we explain the literature used in the relevant discussion. Then, we explain the results and analysis of the in-depth interview. Finally, we propose the questions, discussions and suggestions based on the above results. After the above discussion, this article finds that the funeral services are not only limited to Western body handling, but can also include our own kind of fulfilling filial piety, which means that service is not only a formal service, but also a substantive service. In the case of substantive services, funeral services become the method of solution to the problem. Therefore, as the farewell ceremony is customized, funeral services become an opportunity to complete the life and death of the deceased and their families.
