The stereotype of the perpetrators of domestic violence (DV) is negative because of their unacceptably illegal and unethical behaviors, so they should be punished. However, there are a lot of variances among the perpetrators of DV, therefore, it is not suitable to presume they are as homogeneity. While DV is unacceptable, but some of the perpetrators may be mistreated in their early ages. For example, one of the cases is the phenomenon of intergeneration transmission among DV perpetrators, which is quite complicated related to the mechanisms from being a victim toward a perpetrator. To reveal the complicity about the psychological and behavioral mechanism of intergenerational transmission of DV, this study based on constructivism scientific paradigm, and followed the procedure of narrative inquiry. One perpetrator experiencing intergenerational transmission was invited as interviewee, and four semi-structural interviews were conducted to deeply explore the meanings of his stories. Through the intertwined process of data collection and analysis, the core concepts in his narratives were co-constructure by the participant and research. Four themes were categorized via the steps of Holistic-Content analytic approach, namely: Insecurity, Sublimation of Anger, Fairness, and Reflection. According the analytic results of verbatim script shared by the participant, the intergenerational transmission has occurred between the participant's original family and his nuclear family. The content of transmission was the attitude identifying violence as a tool for dealing conflicts. The implications of the results were highly inspired for understanding and cutting down the intergenerational transmission of DV, and then to meet the treatment goals of preventing the relapse of DV.
