《國語一字多音審訂表》與語文教學綜合研究

摘要


國語一字多音的整理,是教育部國語推行委員會(以下簡稱國語會)在民國76年7月委聘學者開始著手審訂,83年5月將審訂初稿公告試用3年,88年3月修訂完成《國語一字多音審訂表》一書,正式公告使用。公告以後,社會人士、各級教師及學生就有所依據,堪稱貢獻卓著,然而因為一字多音形成原因複雜、使用者背景不同、學習者歷練不同等因素,造成教學與學習上的困境,引發社會各界的重視與討論,尤其身在第一線的中小學教師,對於某些字音也頗感困擾,常常有反映。緣此,國語會於民國98年,分北、中、南、東四區舉行公聽會,希望聽取各界意見,俾就某些字音加以審訂。教育部已於101年12月12日公告初稿,至103年6月11日為止,此次審定音修訂22字,見該初稿附錄2。筆者長期擔任「國音及說話」課程教師,而且也一直參與國語會各種語文專案審訂工作,向來關心此一議題,爰就一字多音相關問題做一綜合研究,諸如:一字多音審訂表審訂沿革、貢獻、學理闡釋、現況檢討、教學策略等,期望能對社會大眾、教學者、學習者有所裨益。

Categorization on Mandarin words with multiple pronunciations began in July 1987 with the Ministry of Education's Mandarin Council. The council hired scholars to assist in the categorization efforts. By May 1994 the first draft was published, set to remain in circulation for three years. The final book "Mandarin Pronunciation Categorization Guide" was published in March 1999. The book received wide use from scholars, educators, and students. In 2009 it was decided that the Mandarin Council would hold four hearings all over Taiwan, where concerned parties could express their opinions and requirements for the future development of this book. The results have been integrated into the first revision, which is set to be published sometime this year. The Ministry of Education has published the first draft on December 12, 2012, valid through June 11, 2014. This draft changes 22 characters, listed in appendix 2. The purpose of this paper is to provide a comprehensive survey of the issues surrounding "Mandarin Pronunciation Categorization Guide" and related research in Mandarin linguistics, in the hopes of guiding prospective researchers in this field and offering future directions.
