In the vast land of China, the belief in the City God is the product of the rise of towns and social development, and one of the ways to achieve a complete and healthy national culture and spirit. Have an insight into the belief in the City God plays in individual ideology, this study uses the personality structure proposed by the Jung analytical psychologist, who was influenced by Eastern philosophical thought, including the "hero" complex of the individual unconscious, the unity of subject and object in collective unconscious, the archetypal choice of the animus and anima behind consciousness, to analytic psychology motives of the belief in the City God. The results show that the belief in Cross-strait of the City God, the will and character of the City God, the ruler of the country wanted plays on Inherit and carry forward, and the interactive mode of temple fair activities have a positive significance and play a positive role in promoting the spirit of the Chinese nation.
