This article will use Yuan Zhesheng's writing analysis of Patrick Süskind's "Die Geschichte von Herrn Sommer", focusing on "The Long Take of Patrick Süskind" and "Second Hand of Patrick Süskind", respectively linking them to Yuan's short story "Humidor" to discuss the two. Whether there is the same creative skill. From the two concepts of long-take's writing and narrative time, we explore the similarities and differences between them to understand whether Yuan Zhesheng was influenced by Patrick Süskind in his creation. I hope that this article will add materials for Yuan Zhesheng's novel research.
