論牟宗三之「新外王」

On the Mou Zongsan's "New Outer Kingliness"

摘要


「內聖外王」的一詞由來已久,但少見到具體之成效。所以在一開始前言部分,筆者稍微爬梳了「內聖外王」一詞的演進與使用方向,避免使用上的誤解。再來試圖分析民主政治與我國固有之民本思想的差異,指出其實兩者也有相符之處,但也了解到「民治」並未落實在傳統政權上。藉由牟宗三先生的思想,本文分析出三個傳統開不出民主政治的因素,分別是治道政道的關係以及理性之運用表現與架構表現再來是階級因緣因素。並舉出牟氏提出的解決之道即是:「曲通與自我坎陷」。並附上了一些學者的批評與回應,試圖理解牟氏新外王的真義。另外也希望能藉由牟先生之理論,試圖找尋儒學在現代合理的位置與應負的使命,或是對於未來之研究能夠盡一份棉薄之力。

Also hope that by Mr. Mou Zongsan's theory, trying to find Confucianism in the modern reasonable position and the mission, or for future research to do some contribution.
