This article takes Lai Xiangyin's "Translator" and "Later それから" as the analysis text, and takes the attitude of the survivor as the perspective to analyze the subject that the novelist is looking for through translation. How can aphasia be interpreted as a traumatic response? Through Marabu's trauma theory, reexamine the essence of trauma and the establishment of the subject, and further look at the layers of deep meaning of "The Translator". "Later それから", which is also a surviving work, is more profoundly dialectical about the discourse power of the survivors and the dead. Taking Benjamin's discussion of translation to form the concept of reincarnation and Derrida's impossible mourning as the dialogue object, a detailed analysis is made. The survival in Lai Xiangyin's works is how to return to the most basic living state of "human beings", reincarnate when facing death (the deceased), so that death (lose) can generate power.
