The Application of Positive Psychology in Second Language Learning in China

The study of positive emotions, resilience, and well-being within Positive Psychology (PP) has spurred a paradigm shift in Second Language Acquisition (SLA) from traditional cognitive-centered approaches to those integrating positive psychological elements. This article explores the development and application of PP in the context of SLA within the Chinese educational landscape. The article calls for more comprehensive research by Chinese scholars on the application of PP to fully realize its potential in SLA.
