新媒介何以“持续生长”：数字媒介生态视角下的数字可持续性
How New Media Achieve "Continuous Growth": Digital Sustainability under the perspective of Digital Media Ecology
摘要
近年来，受到本土功能主义应用式传播研究风气的影响，相关研究对数字媒介生态理论维度和分析视角的革新、凝练和批判有所欠缺。文章在梳理对媒介生态学相关误读的基础上，探讨了从传统媒介生态学到数字媒介生态的进化机理与内涵变迁。在此基础上，引入数字可持续性概念，从数字平台生态系统、数字媒介时间的生态学层面和数字保存、数字共享的传播层面解读数字可持续性的内涵和发展方向，关注在媒介生态变迁中如何延长数字寿命等问题。文章认为，数字媒介运作中物质与非物质、人类与非人类等因素如何在特定语境中通过组合实现持续性生长，是研究数字媒介生态时需长久关注的问题。

In recent years, influenced by the practical communication research ethos of local functionalism, innovation, refinement and criticism of the theoretical dimension of digital media ecology are not well-developed. On the basis of trying to sort out the misunderstanding about media ecology, this paper discusses the evolution mechanism and connotation change from traditional media ecology to digital media ecology. Based on this foundation, drawing on the concept of digital sustainability, this research interprets the meaning and developmental direction of digital sustainability from the ecological dimension of digital platform ecosystems and digital media time, as well as the communicative dimension of digital preservation and sharing, focusing on issues relevant to how to extend the digital longevity in the context of media ecological transitions. This research also considers that understanding how material and non-material, human and non-human factors combine and operate in the context of digital media to achieve sustainable growth is a long-term concern in the studies of digital media ecology.
