Zygomatic implants have transformed the treatment of severely resorbed maxilla, providing an effective alternative to difficult bone grafting operations. The development of zygomatic implants, surgical methods, and clinical results in oral and maxillofacial surgery are all covered in detail in this extensive overview. The benefits of zygomatic implants are highlighted in the review, including shorter treatment times, more comfortable patient experiences, and better cosmetic results. Overall, zygomatic implants represent a valuable treatment option for patients with severe maxillary atrophy, offering predictable outcomes and high patient satisfaction rates.
