Prosthodontist may encounter different types of residual ridges and contours. The form and shape of residual alveolar ridges can range from severely resorbed to widely massive ridges. The use of conventional complete dentures can rectify the deformities to some extent, but excellent denture esthetics can only be achieved by some unconventional innovative approaches. In a person's social, personal, and psychological life, facial aesthetics plays an important role. This article describes two case reports in which esthetic needs of completely edentulous patients have been accomplished by modifying the conventional denture.
