Rehabilitation of a single complete denture presents various clinical challenges and requires thorough evaluation and planning. If the opposing arch is not optimally treated, it often results in failure of prosthesis. Midline fracture of denture is more common when a single complete denture is opposed to natural dentition. Metal framework base increases the fracture resistance, stability, and retention of a prosthesis in such cases. This case report describes fabrication of a single maxillary metal based complete denture.
