【論文摘要】The effect of time restrict feeding on postprandial lipemia after a high fat meal

摘要

Background: Preliminary studies report that long-term time restrict feeding (TRF) increase fat oxidation and decrease boy fat. This study investigated the effect of TRF on postprandial triglyceride (TG) concentrations after a high fat meal. Methods: Three healthy males completed 5-day time restrict feeding trial (TRF) and control trial (CON) in a random order separated by at least 7 days. The standard meals were provided by the lab between 12 pm to 8 pm (TRF) and between 8 am to 8 pm (CON). On the sixth day, the participants consumed a high-fat test meal. The blood sample were observed in the fasted state and for 4 h after consuming a high fat meal. Result: There were no different on fasting TG (P = 0.500), glucose (P = 0.180) and (P = 0.109). The total area under the curve (AUC) was no different among trials. Conclusion: The results of this study indicated that TRF may not affect the fasting and postprandial TG concentrations after a high fat meal.
