【論文摘要】THE DESIGN OF SPIN SPEED MEASUREMENT SYSTEM OF TABLE TENNIS

摘要


目的:在這篇論文中,我們透過一個量測系統,其包含發球機、高速攝影機、材料測試機及FSR壓力感測器設計出一套可量測桌球旋轉速度的系統,並用來驗證桌球速度與旋轉速度的C_L升力係數在桌球領域的結果。方法:本量測系統透過不同發球機球速,桌球打到球皮的停留時間以及三種不同性質的桌球膠皮來找出桌球球速與桌球旋轉速度的關係。其中,透過FSR(10Kg Force Sensitive Resistor)壓力感測器與高階數位示波器來量測不同桌球速度及桌球擊中球拍的停留時間。另外,透過材料測試機(M1F,Cometech公司)量測三種膠皮的動摩擦力與靜摩擦力,以測試不同膠皮對於桌球旋轉力的改變程度。最後,我們透過高速攝影機來驗證桌球速度與旋轉速度的關係是否正確。結果與結論:透過Magnus force的升力係數,C_L=1/(2+(V/V_(spin))=0.33數值可以驗證桌球球速(V)與旋轉速度(V_(spin))之間的關係式,並可透過此量測系統計算出可達平均5.5%誤差率。同時,也可取得摩擦力與桌球擊中球拍的停留時間。而摩差力係數與停留時間參數的導入,更可提高C_L係數計算的準確度。此研究成果將能提供選手不同性質之膠皮如何擊出最佳旋轉速度的建議,以作為訓練時之參考依據。

Introduction: In this paper, we design a system that can measure and analyze the rotation speed of table tennis balls through a measurement system that includes a table tennis ball serve machine, a high-speed camera, material testing machine, and a FSR (10Kg Force Sensitive Resistor) pressure sensor. The lift C_L coefficient is adopted in the table tennis application to verify the relationship between the speed of the table tennis ball and the rotation speed. Methods: The FSR pressure sensor and digital storage oscilloscope are used to measure the residence time of the table tennis ball hitting the racket. Besides, the dynamic friction and static friction of the three table tennis rubbers are tested by the material testing machine (M1F,Cometech Testing Machines) to acquire the friction force by different rubbers. Results & Conclusions: Through the lift C_L coefficient of Magnus force, C_L =1/(2+(V/V_(spin)) =0.33 value is utilized to verify the relationship between the speed of the table tennis ball and the rotation speed. The average 5.5% error ration is calculated by the measurement system proposed in this research. Besides, the friction of rubber and residence time can be obtained in the measurement system. The friction coefficient of rubber and residence time parameters are applied to improve the accuracy of C_L coefficient calculation. In other words, by examining the measured values, we improve the system so that the high-level players can achieve good results in professional matches. The results of this research will be able to provide suggestions for players on how to hit the best rotation speed for rubbers of different natures, which will serve as a reference for training.
