結繫與解脫-試析《雜阿含經》煩惱論述的繩結概念譬喻

本文以《雜阿含經》的五蘊相應教和六入處相應教為主要文本,探討佛教的煩惱和解脫思想,如何透過繩結、繫縛概念譬喻而被理解。首先說明「繩結譬喻的現象因緣」。視取象於具體事物而分類施設的煩惱異名,以及多方比況的詮釋,皆為「概念譬喻」的作用表現。而繩結譬喻在其中尤為必要且特殊。由考察諸煩惱數取譬於結繫的現象,有佛教和漢語兩文化系統綖貫其間。藉詞義溯源而歸納出「煩惱(解脫)是繩結」中的映射規則:煩惱涉及對有法的「繫取」使相關聯,繩結涉及對事物「繫縛」使相關聯。再則探討「與五蘊、六入相應的結所繫法」。透過對《雜阿含經》五蘊、六入處是「結所繫法」之考察,分析在煩惱與解脫繫所繫、斷所斷的結構中,所呈現的五蘊相待、六入隨縛之「結繫」義涵。考查契經中繩結、繫縛概念譬喻表現,為界定理解煩惱解脫思想之關竅,對於分析後世佛教解脫論演變亦具重要意義。

This paper employs Conceptual Metaphor Theory (CMT) to explore how Buddhist concepts of affliction and liberation are understood through the metaphors of knots and binding, focusing on the "Pañcakkhandhā" and "Saḷāyatana" in the Saṃyuktāgama. Describing affliction and liberation using the terms "binding" and "unbinding" is both common and essential in Buddhism. This metaphorical language, rooted in human bodily experience and the cultural frameworks of Buddhism and Chinese, reveals a unique practical philosophy and reflects the structure of human cognition. Through etymological analysis, this paper identifies the Conceptual Mapping Model within the metaphor "AFFLICTION IS KNOTS." It further explains how the Saṃyuktāgama uses the concept of "Saṃyojaniya-dhamma" to interpret the states of the "Pañcakkhandhā" and "Saḷāyatana" within the cycle of birth and death.
