摘要


《海邊的房間》,是黃麗群改以本名創作後唯一的小說集。對黃麗群而言,不只是職業本身,小說人物的整體形象和設計過程,都稱得上是作家嘗試延伸的「各種經驗素材」、是用以表達「what if」的手段。換言之,若探究黃麗群筆下的人物共相,即能更接近黃麗群小說的核心意識。本文第一層分析黃麗群筆下人物展現何種形象,其筆下人物是情感上的邊緣人,擁有不為人知的欲望,那是黃麗群所認為城市中真正的遠方,而她試圖以書寫抵達這個不可觸的遠方。第二層探究小說中人物之間的互動與關係,黃麗群在《海邊的房間》中細膩描繪城市中的人際關係,看似彼此疏離冷漠,卻又在某些時候微妙地聯繫起來,再匆促地斷裂。隨著人際互動方式的變化,也出現新型態的家庭組成。

"The Seaside Room" is the only collection of short stories that Li-Chun Huang written under her real name. For Li-Chun Huang, it is not only about the profession itself; the overall image and design process of the characters in her stories can be seen as "various experiential materials" that the author attempts to extend, serving to express "what if" scenarios. In other words, by exploring the common traits of Li-Chun Huang's characters, one can get closer to the core consciousness of her novels. The first layer of analysis in this article examines the image of characters presented in Huang's work. Her characters are emotional outcasts with hidden desires, which Huang believes represent the true distance within the city-a distance she tries to reach through her writing. The second layer explores the interactions and relationships between characters in the novel. In "The Seaside Room," Li-Chun Huang delicately depicts city interpersonal relationships. While these relationships may seem detached and indifferent, they are subtly connected at certain moments, only to be quickly severed again. With the changing ways of interpersonal interactions, new forms of family structures also emerge.
