Brand Development and Trends of DRAM Module

摘要


DRAM 記憶體模組廠需能夠敏捷應對內部與外部變化,並同時保有競爭優勢,避免產品和銷售策略持續鈍化,讓產品價格戰成為主要競爭手段。在此產業必須因應市場調整不同策略,超前甚至跨界佈局才能讓企業持續維持戰力。 DRAM 記憶體長期被視為大宗商品,加值技術和產品規格多半相差無幾,本研究先以 R 公司個案研究方法,再以五力分析來探討 DRAM 記憶體模組產業之競合,加入動態競爭分析其廠商所面臨的困境與挑戰,最後以 R 公司個案探討不同國際市場的競爭策略、因應之組織架構,再以策略鑽石模型分析同業之間的競爭行為模式,以及相互競爭的行動與回應,尋找其對應的策略與應變計劃,最後歸納出其市場的競爭力。藉由分析研究其不同產品之運用、獲利模式、市場區隔等,規劃其未來發展模式。 最終,探討 DRAM 記憶體模組未來趨勢對產業的後續影響,以及目前所面臨的希望與困境,並提出討論與建議。

DRAM module factories need to be able to quickly respond to internal and external changes, while maintaining a competitive advantage, avoiding making price cuts the main means of competition. In this industry, it is necessary to adjust different strategies in response to the market, in order to maintain their combat effectiveness. The DRAM industry has been regarded as a commodity for a long time, while the development technologies and product specifications are mostly the same. This study first discusses the competition and cooperation of the DRAM module industry with the analysis of the five forces, and then analyzes the challenges faced by the manufacturers by using the Competitive Dynamics Theory. Then, through the case study of R Company, discuss the competitive strategies and organizational structures for responding to different international markets. Using the strategic diamond model to analyze the competitive behavior patterns among peers, as well as the actions and responses of mutual competition, to find the corresponding strategies and contingency plans. By analyzing and studying the application of its different products, profit models, market segments, etc., plan its future development model. Finally, the study discusses the future trends of DRAM module industry, then conclude with discussions and suggestions.
