Crewel work embroidery is a unique embroidery art form originating from Danyang, Jiangsu, China, and founded by Yang Shouyu, a professor at Zhengze Art School. Its main feature is short intersecting lines, which can be embroidered with various themes by changing the angle, thickness, etc. This skill gradually developed and matured and was introduced to Taiwan in 1949. It has a history of development in Taiwan for more than 70 years. The video report of this study, "In The Mood of Stitch" , focuses on four Taiwanese embroidery artists.
