為了能有效應用於野生獼猴的麻醉與捕捉,本實驗目的比較台灣獼猴單獨使肌肉注射tiletamine-zolazepam、單獨使用口服chloral hydrate及合併使用口服chloral hydrate及肌肉注射tiletamine-zolazepam時的麻醉安定效果。本實驗以15隻成熟獼猴為實驗動物,母猴及公猴分別為11及4隻,將母猴任意分入A、B、C三組,而四隻公猴為D組。A組動物給予不含任何藥物的泡芙,並於給予泡芙後第30分鐘肌肉注射tiletamine-zolazepam 2 毫克/公斤;B組動物給予調味過含chloral hydrate 100 毫克/公斤的泡芙,並於餵食後的30分鐘肌肉注射無菌生理食鹽水;C組及D組動物給予調味過含chloral hydrate 200 毫克/公斤的泡芙,並於餵食後的30分鐘肌肉注射tiletamine-zolazepam 2 毫克/公斤。實驗過程中,會以麻醉評分表及神經反射表加以評分,之後以Least Signigicant Difference (LSD)法分析是否有顯著差異(P<0.05),實驗結果顯示Group C及Group D兩組與Group A及Group B在鎮靜效果上有顯著差異,但Group C及Group D之間並無顯著差異。 本次實驗為第一篇探討口服chloral hydrate運用於非人靈長類之麻醉鎮靜效果,對野外進行麻醉保定獼猴時可提供有效的參考價值,亦可運用於未來進行台灣獼猴的節育管理,以緩解保育區環境人猴衝突的問題。
To make immobilizing and capturing wild Formosan Macaques more efficacy in practice, this study compared the different effects among using chloral hydrate alone, tiletamine-zolazepam alone and chloral hydrate – [tiletamine-zolazepam] combined in Formosan macaques. 11 female and 4 male macaques were collected. The 11 females were assigned randomly into A(n=3), B(n=4), and C(n=4) groups, and the 4 males were gathered in group D. Group A was given puff without drugs and injected tiletamine-zolazepam 2 mg/kg intramuscularly after 30 minutes. Group B was given puff with flavored Chloral Hydrate 100 mg/kg orally and injected sterile saline after 30 minutes. Group C and D were received flavored puff with Chloral hydrate 200 mg/kg orally and injected tiletamine-zolazepam 2 mg/kg intramuscularly after 30 minutes. During the procedures, the sedation level and anesthetic depth were recorded by using sedation index and scoring system for parameters of anesthetic depth. Data were analyzed by Least Signigicant Difference (LSD) of variance for significant (P<0.05). The result shows group C and group D provided significantly better sedation than group A and B, but no significance between group C and group D. This is the first study to discuss about oral chloral hydrate using for sedation and anesthesia with Zoletil in non-human primates. Hoping this study can apply in wild Formosan Macaques in the future and help alleviating the conflict of people and monkeys.
