Newsgame has become a new format used by journalism in digital ages, which blurred the boundary between news and games. This research focus on the role of newsgame producers and learns how to converge different content and platform between the traditional journalism and game. Based on in-depth interviewing, this research finds that newsgame is one of the ways to tell stories. Newsgame can help users explore unfamiliar worlds, experience stories, and engage them in a highly emotional and meaningful way. While the producers have to pay more attention on the traits of newsgame, they follow the principles of journalistic professionalism and bear the ethic issues in mind. Approaching the truth is the most important thing as always to them.
