台灣充電式鋰電池產業剛過了10年的時間,上中下游中各公司的發展歷程與未來潛力各有不同。其中鋰鐵電池已漸漸成為動力與儲能的市場主流,本論文特別探討鋰鐵電池在其主要的幾項市場上的發展。 研究方法將採用波特產業分析四大步驟進行,情報蒐集、產品技術評估、競爭策略分析、新事業評估。而我們對於蒐集好的資料從三層次:總體層次、產業層次、企業層次來進行分析,主要以波特五力模型,其中價值鏈分析及SWOT分析,針對上、中、下游產業及產品種類進行交叉比對,找出其差異化及競爭力的能力。 結果顯示,鋰鐵電池產業在電動車、UPS不斷電電源、汽車啟動電池、小型與大型儲電市場上皆有相當大的商機。如何有效的把握這些機會而使台灣的鋰電池產業能保握住此機會在世界上占有一席之地,這將是ㄧ件值得努力追求的目標。研究建議如下: 1.以特殊用途的車輛應用培養電動車(EV)市場的實力,並發展鉛酸電池的取代市場(如:不斷電系統與汽車啟動電瓶)。 2.增資擴廠與提升自動化,先將產能與製程能力準備好才能掌握住鋰鐵電池市場的機會。 3.以發展大陸市場為優先。 4.電池芯廠與組裝廠的整合綜效最大。
The Li-ion battery industry has been developed for just over ten years in Taiwan. Each of these remaining companies has different developing history and the competitive capability for the upcoming changes. It’s getting clear in recent year that LiFePO4 has become the main stream of the hi-power battery industry. This article is focus on the several main applications of LiFePO4 and the development of this industry in Taiwan. Porter Industry Analysis Method is used in this research, the steps are: information collection, product technology evaluation, competitive strategy analysis and new industry evaluation. The collected information is analyzed by industry level and corporate level. Porter Five-Force Model, value chain analysis, and SWOT analysis are used to analyze the differences between the upstream, midstream and downstream in this industry. The results show that there is a huge opportunity for LiFePO4 in the coming years. The applications include electric vehicle, UPS electric system, the start battery on vehicle, the electric storage system in smart grid power system. The market sizes of these applications are huge. It’s a great if Taiwan can take this opportunity to be a major player in power source industry around the world. Suggestions are listed below: 1.Focus on the application on special purpose vehicles, and keep an eye on the EV;Promote the replacement of lead-acid battery. 2.Prepare sufficient capital to increase the capability and automation. 3.Focus on the market in China first. 4.Integrate the cell function and pack function for the maximum synergy.
