This study analyzes the carbon footprint of competitive products such as recycled polyester, recycled Nylon 6, recycled mechanical stretch polyester and dope dyed yarns. This research is intended to promote filament textile for famous brands and their suppliers in sports, outdoor activity, yoga, daily wear industries. In the life cyce accessment (LCA), our research findings show that the recycled nylon can reduce carbon footprint by 26%, recycled polyester can reduce carbon footprint by 13%, recycled mechanical stretch polyester can reduce carbon footprint by 63%, recycled dope dyed polyester can reduce carbon footprint by 33%, virgin dope dyed polyester can reduce carbon footprint by 20%, recycled doped dyed Nylon 6 can reduce carbon footprint by 43% and virgin doped dyed nylon can reduce carbon footprint by 17%. There are different selling punches for brands and suppliers with different requirement about carbon footprint.
