Artificial reproductive technology (ART) treatment is emerging as a growing industry as both men and women are increasingly challenged by socioeconomic issues, staying in the labor force longer, and not planning to have kids until their 30s or 40s. Due to an increase in infertility patients globally and the expensive fertility services, patients are seeking high quality and affordable medical care and willing to travel abroad for treatments. This research paper discusses fertility treatment centers in Taiwan as well as regulation and various aspects of Taiwan medical tourism to formulate strategic recommendations for a successful ART medical tourism center in Taiwan.
