臺灣女性網站的身體政治與觀閱文化——以〈姊妹淘〉和〈女人迷〉為例

摘要


近十年崛起的臺灣女性網站姊妹淘與女人迷,網站強調「女性主義」和女性意識,並以創辦人的良好形象塑造女性「典範」,建構出風行的女性主義(popular feminism)與凝聚龐大的虛擬社群,另一方面卻也面臨父權資本主義收編,與政治、文化的複雜情境而產生矛盾與困境。自2012年英美第四波女性主義的發展,臺灣發生的數起性別事件,以及姊妹淘與女人迷在網路上引起爭議和社群論戰,重思女性網站操演典範主體與(抵)認同形構,與詮釋收編定位和能動性。 本文以自九〇年代中期出現的女性網站,梳理臺灣女性網站的發展脈絡,從過往女性網站在父權異性戀社會下的協商與逃逸,結合後女性主義與文化研究理論,探討女性網站二十年來的發展變化,與現今相互參照。姊妹淘與女人迷在當代文化、政治與商機制等情境下,性別事件中發聲、聚焦性騷擾、強暴文化與媒體上的性別歧視,並與社群與網站相互對話。本文期盼深入探討,女性網站如何協助女性建構主體、辨識自我在人際關係的價值與定位,並在現實生活與網路空間實踐對壓迫體制的抵抗。

In the past decade, the two renowned women-focused websites in Taiwan, Babyou and Womany, rose gradually. These women-focused websites are based around a greater demand for feminist awareness. They create female models through their founders’/promoters’ image and thus catalyze popular feminism. Both websites attempt to speak for the gender issues and protest against gender-related violence and sexual discrimination. While seemingly compelling and effective, the hidden yet rooted capitalist patriarchy renders these women-focused websites ambivalent and ironically not as democratic and egalitarian as they are imagined. Since 2012, these women-focused websites were started to be criticized within the gender/sexuality related issues/events as well as the imported fourth-wave feminism. Thus, this study aims to reconsiders the potential as well as impasse of these women-focused websites. This study investigates into Babyou and Womany developed from the mid 90S, analyzing their negotiation between heterosexual hegemony and patriarchy perspectives. Employing post-feminist and cultural theories, this study explores the ways in which the media market formation and the audience reception of Babyou and Womany participate in the identificatory (de)construction of the feminist communities in contemporary Taiwan. It is the ultimate goal of this study to further highlight the possible tactics that flexibly use digital powers and, at the same time, reflexively aware of the limits of the virtual.
