以觀光立國的日本透過制定一系列觀光政策與放寬申請簽證的限制,吸引外國人前來日本觀光,期盼以觀光重振日本的經濟。根據觀光廳的紀錄,2018年的赴日旅客數更達到三千萬人次。推展觀光政策的同時,政府也推出航空相關政策,例如首都圈空港計畫,日本的民用航空業也趁勢搭上這班順風車。 本研究主要以作為日本大手航空的日本航空與全日空作為研究對象,從了解航空公司的經營模式與特性、日本航空業的發展後,接著分析當前日本民航業的現況與所面對的環境,再比較日本航空與全日空的內部資源,找出彼此的優劣勢。全日空的優勢在於機隊、航線的規模;而日本航空則是在於有其良好的獲利能力、企業體質。 研究結果方面,因研究時受到新冠肺炎(COVID-19)疫情影響,全球航空業幾乎呈現停擺的情況,因此藉由分析的結果來觀看日本航空與全日空是否得以在疫情後可以走出陰霾,達成V字回復。
Japan, Tourism-oriented country has make many tourism policies and relaxed visa application restrictions to attract foreigners vising Japan, hoping that reviving the Japan’s economy by tourism. According to the Japan Tourism Agency’s record , in 2018 the number of visitors to Japan has reached 30 million. Along with the tourism policy, the government has also launched aviation-related policies, such as the Metropolitan Area Airport Project, and Japan's civil aviation industry has taken advantage of this opportunity to ride on the wave. This study focuses on Japan Airlines and All Nippon Airways, the major airlines in Japan. After understanding the business model and characteristics of the airlines and the development of the Japanese airline industry, we analyze the current situation and environment of the Japanese civil aviation industry, and then analyze the internal resources of Japan Airlines and All Nippon Airways to identify the strengths and weaknesses of each other. ANA's strengths lie in the size of its fleet and routes, while JAL's strengths lie in its profitability and corporate structure. The results of the study were analyzed to see if JAL and ANA were able to recover from the outbreak and achieve a V-shaped recovery.
