Explosion-proof electrical equipment has a special structure, which is different from general electrical equipment in installation, use and subsequent maintenance. Therefore, it is very important to select qualified personnel to ensure the ntegrity of the explosion-proof performance. The purpose of this study is to understand the situation of explosion-proof electrical field expertise, safety awareness, and afety behavior of personnel in explosive environments, to analyze the differences between personnel with different background variables, and to explore the relationship tween the three. Using the questionnaire survey method, and the questionnaire content includes explosion-proof electrical professional knowledge scale, electrical cognitive safety scale, and safety behavior scale. Using field personnel from three domestic state-owned public institutions with explosive environments as research samples, 230 valid questionnaires were obtained. SPSS statistical software was used for descriptive statistical analysis, Independent sample T test, One-way ANOVA, Multiple Factorial ANOVA, Simple Interaction Effect, Scheffe method, and Pearson correlation. The study found that personnel background variables such as (education level, attending company training courses, obtaining electrical licenses) will make a significant difference to general electrical safety awareness and safety behavior, but for explosive environments, the required explosion-proof electrical major knowledge is not significantly related. It is recommended that employers should revise the current education and training content to construct the explosion-proof electrical knowledge that is required to meet the nature of the hazardous area.
