I used to work for Retail industry for more than ten year. During that time, I faced the digital transformations period, offline to online (O2O) since 2015, and online merge offline (OMO) since in 2019. I realized that information technologies are not only changed the way people worked, it could also change consumers’ behaviors. One innovation product may lead people’s life become different, just like Apple launched the first smart phone in the world. It changed how people use the cell phone and open a door for thousands of applications. I also see the possibility in Metaverse industry. To awareness that the next hero item may hide in the Metaverse industry; therefore, I start my journey to write down this thesis. Metaverse is a popular searching key word from 2020. The article separates two parts. The first part is trying to explore the business concept and the companies which involved in the Metaverse, such us Meta, Microsoft, and Roblox. These enterprises play an important role in the shaping the Metaverse industry and help to invite more users to take participate in the virtual space. The second part collected several Metaverse ETFs from North American and Asia markets, to prove that investment market is interested in the concept of Metaverse. Although the developing of Metaverse is in the very early stage currently, these investors are excited about the new technologies revolution and would like to seize the opportunities to invest in the Metaverse.
