摘要


音樂錄影帶在台灣已有近50年的歷史,1981年,台灣第一支音樂錄影帶《大家一起來》誕生,影片中僅有簡單的歌手對嘴演唱畫面。而到2020年,金曲獎最佳音樂錄影帶獎獲獎作品《紅》中卻完全不見歌手的蹤影,取而代之的是如電影般行雲流水的敘事,可見台灣音樂錄影帶在近幾年歷經了不小的改變。 本研究將使用文本分析法,解構2000年至2020年金曲獎最佳錄影帶獲獎作品之音樂、影像與歌詞間的互動關係,並深入研究三者在音樂錄影帶中所扮演的角色。在將影片整理歸類分析後,觀察20年間獲獎作品視聽藝術之改變。 研究結果發現歌詞主題、音樂基本要素(節奏、音強、音高與音色)及歌曲結構皆會影響音樂錄影帶的影像設計。歷經20年的改變,獲獎音樂錄影帶不再只是歌手形象宣傳的工具,影像獨立性增強,在與音樂傳遞相同意象的同時創造新的故事。在主題方面,獲獎作品愛情主題減少,更關注台灣社會議題。近年,小眾音樂也開始佔據獲獎榜單,這類作品更加注重概念的傳遞,而非歌手外在形象的展現。

In 1981, "Come Together," the first Taiwan music video, consisted of only singer’s performance, without any plot. However, in 2020, "Love," which won the Golden Melody Award for Best Music Video, did not have the singer showing up at all. Instead, it tells a story, which shows that Taiwan music video has undergone a lot of changes in recent years. This study used textual analysis to deconstruct the interactive relationship among music, images, and lyrics of the best video winners in Golden Melody Awards from 2000 to 2020. It will also analyze the role of the three elements in music videos. After classifying and analyzing all music videos, we observe the changes of narrative techniques and themes of award-winning videos in the past 20 years. The study results show that the theme of lyrics, the basic elements of music (rhythm, intensity, pitch, and timbre) and song structure all influence the image design of music videos. In comparing the latest with the early ones, this study finds that the award-winning music video is no longer just a tool to promote the singer's personal imagery. The image is more independent, and it can create a new story while delivering the same emotion as the music does. In terms of theme, the award-winning videos focus more on social issues in Taiwan than love. In recent years, the winning list has also been dominated by indie music, which focuses on conveying a concept than presenting an artist's personal imagery.
