應用於無線行動裝置之三頻帶MIMO天線設計

Triple band MIMO Antenna for Wireless Mobile Application

摘要


本篇論文提出三頻帶多重輸入多重輸出(Multiple Input Multiple Output; MIMO)天線,頻率所涵蓋的範圍有GSM900、GSM1800以及LTE2600,此天線以平面倒F的結構來做設計,由三個共振路徑所組成,三頻的模態都以耦合的方式來產生,該天線其模擬及量測的結果顯示三個頻帶都具有良好的阻抗匹配及完整的輻射場型。 接著再設計多天線之部分,利用所設計好的三頻帶天線以兩個對稱的方式排列,並選擇兩天線之間的距離間隔,此間隔為低頻段GSM900之1/10波長約為33.3mm,觀察及分析此MIMO天線耦合路徑,並針對此現象設計相對應之去耦合結構,測得的增益值GSM900為-1.469dBi,GSM1800為-2.246dBi及LTE2600為0.07dBi,封包相關係數GSM900為-17dB,GSM1800為-23dB及LTE2600為-28.4dB,因此本篇MIMO天線有良好隔離效果。

This paper presents a triple band MIMO antenna that meets GSM900/1800 and LTE2600 bands requirement. The antenna is designed with Planar Inverted-F Antenna (PIFA) structure that consists of three resonant paths. The higher band is generated by the inverted-L structure fed by a transmission line. In addition, two bands are excited by two meander lines, for which one is a coupling PIFA construction for the lower band and a parasitic element for the middle band is located on the back of the circuit board. The MIMO antenna consists of two symmetric antennas with edge-to-edge separation of nearly one-tenth wavelength of the lower band. The rectangular slot on the ground plane is implemented to enhance isolation for the higher band, and the microstrip line plug in the rectangular slot serve the purpose for the lower band. The MIMO antenna measurement results showed good impedance matching with low mutual coupling, and nearly omnidirectional radiation pattern. Envelope correlation coefficient is calculated to verify that the purposed antenna is suitable for wireless mobile application.
