MIMO天線傳輸性能之研究

摘要


在無線寬頻網路中,天線扮演傳輸媒介相當重要的角色,依目前台北市Wifly無線寬頻城市的例子,其收訊強度及涵蓋僅能增加AP站台數量來改善,倘若在不增加站台數前提下,改採MIMO無線系統之多路徑傳輸即可提升傳輸品質,發射與接收多天線系統是MIMO無線系統的重要組成部分,其性能直接影響MIMO傳輸的性能。多天線發出的信號在無線傳輸中經散射傳播而混合在一起,再經接收端多天線接收,其性能取決於各天線單元接收信號的獨立程度,而多天線間的相關性與散射傳播及天線特性密切相關。 本論文目的在於透過不同倍數 的天線間距變化,及改變室內和室外環境,找到無線寬頻網路在利用MIMO天線的系統下,依據其傳輸的Throughput、Jitter和天線多路徑干擾….等關係,找到最佳之涵蓋及傳輸性能驗證。

In the wireless broadband network, radio antenna plays a very important role in the transmission media. Take Taipei City Wifly wireless broadband network as an example, its receiver sensitivity and coverage can only be enhanced by adding of APs. If the numbers of AP were not to be increased, the quality of transmission can be improved by adopting MIMO antenna system. Multiple transmit and receive antenna system is an important part of MIMO wireless system as its performance will directly affect MIMO’s transmission performance. Signals from multiple antennas transmit, scatter propagate, and then receive by multiple receiver antennas. Its performance is decided upon by each individual receiver antenna’s sensitivity, but the relevance of multiple antennas, scatter propagation and antenna characteristic are closely related. The objective of this thesis is to find and confirm the best coverage and transmission performance in a wireless broadband network by utilizing MIMO antenna system, through variation of distance between antennas and variation of indoor and outdoor environment based on its transmission throughput, jitter and antenna multipath interference, etc.
