雲端運算(Cloud Computing)無疑是過去一年IT界最火熱的新興名詞之一,Cloud 是一個將運算、儲存、網路、應用轉化為可集中運用、彈性分配的虛擬整合資源的技術,像是國際大企業亞馬遜、Google..等業者提供公共雲端服務,已經逐漸展現其可行性與優勢,而一些對此架構感興趣又擔心外部服務會有風險的企業,便開始思考是否能在自家資料中心裡建立類雲端環境,也就是所謂的私有雲端架構。私有雲端代表了一種技術趨勢的匯合,把可以分解成小單位的模組化硬體與能夠依預設規則動態分配的網路和儲存系統,在資料中心內部結合成彈性空前的企業IT基礎資源。要達到這個目標,企業必須將現有的資料中心系統及流程上,增加諸如虛擬系統管理、雲端應用程式介面、自助式服務入口網站、費用分攤計算系統等技術,這也是私有雲端所需的建置工作。 本研究將藉由不同的私有雲端中心的網路儲存設備 (Network Attached Storage,NAS) 搭配不同的硬碟型式、通信設備及網路架構方式,展現出檔案傳輸及多媒體推播的性能研究,在 1Gbits、10Gbit/s 及 Fiber channel的網路架構下測試系統效能,將雲端儲存伺服器效能發揮出頂尖的效果,並且將網路儲存設備 (NAS) 在多顆硬碟 RAID 模式,以 1/10Gbits 的網路條件下,搭配 NASPT, IOMeter的測試軟體,以傳統型 HDD、SAS、SLC SSD (solid-state drive of single-level cell) 及 MLC SSD (solid-state drive of Multi-level cell) 四種不同的硬碟型式,測試出大容量檔案讀取及寫入的性能比較。另外在企業網路中儲存伺服器 (NAS) 的 RAID 磁碟陣列層級設定、軟硬體防火牆安全的架設、路由交換器的選擇及企業資料藉由網路 Remote Replication 執行異地備援也都是極為重要的一環,本研究會針對不同的中小型企業私有雲端網路傳輸性能及同步備援機制探討,讓中小型企業在管理其私有雲端網路儲存系統結構奠定基礎,能夠在最省成本的條件下,讓私有雲網路儲存系統擁有最佳的配置!
