本論文目的為設計創新的天線結構,應用於手持式行動裝置之全球數位電視廣播接收(470 MHz~862 MHz)及3G系統( GSM900 / PCS1800 / UMTS )的微型化天線可運用至任何印刷電路板,克服多媒體行動通訊裝置天線過長的問題。 本文分別針對DTV及3G系統的行動裝置(例如:手機、PMP),提出兩種縮小化天線結構,DTV天線主要是利用單極槽孔天線來做設計,利用50 Ω微帶線饋入,激發微帶線接地面的八個槽孔單極天線,達到數位電視全頻寬接收,並且利用單極槽孔天線四分之一波長的特性結合螺旋的結構達到天線縮小化效果,天線尺寸為2× 2cm2。 3G多頻手機天線主要是利用指叉式電容耦合與一個接地路徑的架構,將兩個四分之一波長的路徑容納於同一個天線平面中,達到縮小化及多頻化的設計方式,並探討指叉電容的手指數及觀察指叉電容的間隔,對於天線輻射特性之影響,使得此天線可達到多頻段效果。經由模擬驗證及實際製作量測,此天線可操作頻帶含括範圍在GSM-850、GSM-900、DCS-1800、PCS-1900、UMTS及 2.4-GHz WLAN (IEEE 802.11b)天線主要輻射體的部分為10 × 40 mm2。
The purpose of this paper the design of innovative antenna structure, Application for global digital television receiver in handheld mobile devices (470 MHz ~ 862 MHz) and 3G systems (GSM900 / PCS1800 / UMTS), to overcome the problem of antenna is too long in Multimedia mobile communications device, the proposed antenna can be used to any printed circuit board. In this paper proposed two kind of miniaturized antenna, the DTV and 3G mobile phone antenna respectively. A printed chip type antenna using spiral monopole slot structures on system ground for DTV signal reception in the UHF band is proposed in this paper. By utilizing the eight quarter-wavelength of spiral slot likes a radiator in configuration. In this case, the occupied area of the monopole slot chip antenna on the system circuit board can be further reduced. Antenna has a compact size of 20×20×0.8mm3. The proposed PIFA has a simple structure of comprising λ/4 radiating strips of length about at 900 to cover the GSM850/GSM900 bands and using a interdigital capacitor coupling feed. The two radiating strips also generate two higher-order modes or λ/4 modes at about 2100 MHz to form a wide upper band for GSM1800/1900/DCS/PCS/UMTS bands and the 2.4-GHz WLAN (IEEE 802.11b) band operation. Further, the antenna has a simple planar structure and occupies a small area of 10 × 40 mm2 or 400 mm2 on the system circuit board of the mobile phone.
