臺灣牙醫師選擇醫療設備與耗材之現況調查

牙科領域中，牙醫師選擇產品及設備仍以進口產品為主。而在缺乏品牌及臨床數據不足的狀況下，如何使國內產品在國外廠商強烈的競爭環境下找到自身優勢、並在國內市場上佔有一席之地，是值得探討的一項議題。本研究利用匿名問卷調查的結果來分析全國各醫療院所牙科部門中採購器械、耗材時選擇國產品及進口產品的比例，以及選擇國產品或進口產品的影響及考量因素之結果調查來進行近一步探討。問卷共分成三大部分，從全國牙醫師中按照比例分層抽樣作為調查對象，而所使用之問卷均依標準程序進行，包括專家效度之檢測與修正、IRB審理，以確保資料品質之良好。本問卷統計發放問卷共3000份，回收359份，回收率為11.8%，有效問卷355份，佔問卷回收率98.89%。而本研究以回收之有效的355份問卷所收集到的資料，以描述性統計來進行各結果分析與探討。本研究結果顯示，目前牙科院所除了診療椅以國產品為大宗外，其餘設備及耗材如牙科手機、一般拔牙器械、印模及矯正材料等，仍以進口產品為主要，而選購的決策因素則是以品質、價格、售後服務為主要考量；再進一步分析發現，牙醫師在購買國產品或是進口產品的決策因素及影響因素上並不會受到受試者本身的人口學特性、任職院所地域特性或是任職院所本身的特性所影響；但由購買的品項去做相關性分析，可以發現無論是在器械或是材料，在統計上皆有顯著差異，因此在購買國產品或是進口產品的影響因素上，會受到購買品項以及購買比例所影響。國產品的優勢在於價格普遍較為優惠，但進口產品的優勢則主要是被認為品質更為可靠。但比起進口產品，國產品不可忽略的是有著創新度的優勢，可以快速地依照牙醫師的需求反應將產品做更改，且較易取得試用產品，去得到臨床數據的佐證，增加國產品在選擇上的信心度。另外，國產品的推廣，亦必須提供更完整的產品及品牌訊息，這些都是讓消費者能夠進一步接受國產品使用的因素，因此，政府相關單位應盡快與各家廠商合作，由國產品擁有的優勢中介入相關政策，為牙科國產品提供更穩定的市場。

Background Dental materials market with the fastest market growth are observed due to the expansion of oral healthcare needs by the increasing elderly population and consumer awareness. The study for preference use of dental materials and relevant equipment has rarely been addressed. The aims of this thesis were to (1) elucidate the proportion of local and foreign materials used in dental care and (2) identify the factors associated with the use of local and foreign materials. Materials and Methods As size of dentists varies by area, we used the probabilities proportional to size (PPS) method to randomly select dentists from different age groups in each area. A total of 3,000 dentists are our study target samples. The questionnaire contained three parts. First part is demographic information for dentists. The second is the proportion local and foreign materials. The third part is the propensity factors for materials use. The questionnaire were mailed to 3,000 dentists, the response rate was 11.8%. The total of valid questionnaires are 355. Results Most of the dental chairs are local production from our investigation. On the other hand, dentists are preferred to use the foreign production for dental materials such as hand-speed handpiece, dental instrument. The propensity factors for local production use are associated with items and purchase amount. Conclusions In this thesis, we investigate the preference of dentists on dental materials and equipment use in Taiwan. The results are helpful for understanding the current status of local dental production and promoting the local dental production in dental market
