時域量測技術的發展

摘要


隨著近年來通訊產業的蓬勃發展,對天線量測的準確性日益增加。一般天線場型(antenna pattern)的量測都以頻域技術主為,其正確性受限於無反射實驗室的大小與吸波體(absorber)材質的品質。量測上主要的誤差起因於無反射實驗室四壁反射所造成的影響。利用時域技術(Time-domain technique)即可將直射波與與無反射實驗室所造成的其它雜波分離。本篇論文將討論時域量測技術、時域gating、誤差的來源,並呈現實際應用於天線量測上的結果。

The increasingly demanding performance required of today’s antennas necessitates higher-accuracy measurement techniques. Much attention has been given to antenna measurements in the frequency. The accuracy of conventional measurement of antenna radiation pattern in chamber using frequency-domain technique is dependent on the dimensions of chamber and the quality of its absorbing materials. One of the main contributory causes of error in chamber is the reflection of waves from the surfaces of the chamber. Time-domain techniques make it possible to separate the direct signal from a multitude of waves reflected from the chamber walls. This thesis describes the antenna time-domain measurement technique, time-domain gating, the error sources, and the results of some experimental studies.
