本研究透過計算新創社會企業「元沛農坊-沃畝股份有限公司」的社會投資報酬率(Social Return On Investment, SROI),探討該新創企業對台灣社會產生的影響力,研究結果顯示,元沛農坊的SROI為4.96,與傳統財報顯示的投資報酬率(return on investment, ROI)有極大的差異。問卷調查顯示元沛農坊的工作者壓力大且工時長,但員工的心理及技能成長效果卓越,此外,該公司的SROI也證明社會企業的存在價值,未來將有助其爭取更多政府相關資源及投資者的青睞。整體而言,除以實證方式進行元沛農坊的SROI計算外,本研究其它的貢獻有三,一為將現行SROI操作指南中的範例方案與操作流程進行改寫,使其更臻至完善,利於後續有志計算SROI的研究者,二為針對計算SROI所需的移轉因子及衰退因子之設定提出長遠性的解決方法,將抽象的概念予以具體數字化,最後,本研究透過文獻回顧的機會,將現有研究進行全面性的彙整歸納,讓後續研究者能更迅速的瞭解過去SROI的相關應用與發展。
This study calculates the social return on investment (SROI) of the “Agriforward Co., Ltd” to explore the impact of newly created social enterprise on Taiwan society. The results find that Agriforward's SROI is 4.96. In addition, there is a tremendous difference between the SROI value of Agriforward and the return on investment (ROI) presented in the traditional financial report. The investigation shows that there is a great pressure and long working hours in Agriforward, the employee in Agriforward get an amazing psychological and skill growth effect. Besides, The Agriforward’s SROI also proves the existence value of social enterprises and will help them to win more government-related resources and investors' favor in the future. In addition to finding the SROI of Agriforward in an empirical manner, we contribute the current literatures in three ways. First, we rewrite the case study of "Wheels-to-Meals" in the SROI User’s Guide in which some content is ambiguous. Next, this study digitizes the abstract concept of Displacement and Drop-off by proposing a long-term setting solution. Last but not least, this study provides a comprehensive summary of existing studies, so that follow-up researchers can quickly understand the relevant applications and development of past SROI.
