台灣的半導體產業,所提供的專業代工業務模式,在全球半導體產業中形成一個特殊的產業鏈,為台灣創造了龐大的經濟效應。不過受到景氣的影響,以及產業鏈中各角色本身的運作成本不斷上升,再加上後起的競爭者出現,使得原本平順的產業鏈,遭受到衝擊。因此企業要保持其成長熱度,除了要面對來自外界環境的影響外,企業本身也要更積極思考,自我調適,創新思維,以因應其後隨之而來的各項市場景氣變化及其他競爭者加入等嚴酷的挑戰。 從專業物流的角度思考,台灣的物流業者是否能協助台灣專業代工產業,整合國際物流機能服務到國外客戶的價值鏈中,使國外客戶因其物流機能在功能的整合和得著客製化的加值服務後,進而願意利用台灣優越的地理位置,從台灣向全球市場供貨;能藉由物流業者的物流服務提高台灣專業代工廠的價值並提升台灣的競爭優勢。 第三方物流業者具有整合物流機能的能力,能依據客戶的需求提供多元和客製化的物流機能。如果在服務國外半導體廠商時,清楚了解它們的運作模式,且能提供關鍵性物流核心能力,第三方物流業者就能維持自身業務的發展並持續為客戶創造價值的雙贏策略。 本文從實務運作經驗中,整理出國外半導體廠商在台灣的七種運作模式。針對這七種運作模式探討其所需要的物流機能活動,並找出第三方物流業者對國外半導體廠商物流服務的關鍵核心能力。最後以個案說明佐證,並提出看法和建議。
Taiwan semiconductor industry provided a dedicated IC foundry business model, it is a special industrial chain in the global semiconductor manufacturing industry and it really been created very large economic effects for Taiwan. However, by the impact of world economic downturn, as well as the industrial chain role itself continue rising it operation cost, coupled with the new competitors emerging, make the originally smoother industry chain, suffered a great impact on. To be able to keep up company with a Fast- Growing, besides corresponds to the impact from the external environment, the enterprise itself, must be positive thinking, self-adaptation to the response to subsequently followed by the change of marketing economy and other competitors challenges. From the perspective of professional logistics thinking point view, Taiwan logistics service provider’s global logistics service functions, whether can be integrated into the value chain of foreign customers and by those service supporting, customer can upgrading, integrate, and created customized value-added services, thereby, can take advantage of Taiwan's superior location, supplier they product to the global market. By those logistics service function provided, not only can be increasing the value of professional foundries in Taiwan but also enhance Taiwan's competitive advantage. Third-party logistics providers have the ability to integrate logistics functions, diverse and customized based on customer needs. When they provide customer service to the IC foundry industry in Taiwan, on the meanwhile, they have such as a clear understanding of the global operation model of the foreign semiconductor manufacturers, and can provide critical logistics core competencies, so the third-party logistics providers will be able to maintain the business and continuing and creating value for them customers, reached “win-win” strategy. From practical operational experience, we sort out seven operation model of the foreign semiconductor manufacturers in Taiwan. And from those seven operations model, we study those model necessary logistics functional activities; also identify the key core competencies of third-party logistics provider’s logistics services for foreign semiconductor manufacturers. Finally, we use a case study to description and evidence and provide suggestions to third-party logistics provider.
