投影技術在新產品市場之競爭策略研究

摘要


摘 要 在過去的十年間,德州儀器主導的DLP技術,以及EPSON所主導的HTPS (3LCD)技術,主導了整個投影機市場,並已形成完整的產業鏈。整個產業似乎進入了成熟期。 DLP技術的快速竄起,主要因為其競爭策略運作的成功。而EPSON的HTPS陣營,也憑藉著成本優勢及特有商業模式,守住了半壁江山。 但是隨著LED光源成功的應用在投影機,以及3D、超高清訊號源的開始成熟。創造出了四個全新的投影技術應用市場。也使得LCOS技術,以及雷射掃描技術,有了新的進入市場的機會。 本研究總共蒐集了四個投影技術陣營,共九家微顯示面板供應商的競爭策略資料。再從技術競爭優勢及市場定位的角度出發,並輔以SWOT分析、五力分析等工具,探討這些公司的競爭策略擬定,與其核心能力及外部環境間的關聯性。

Abstract In the past decade, Texas Instrument has led the DLP technology and HTPS (3LCD) technology led by Epson. They have dominated the project market and formed a complete industry chain. And maturity seems to have entered the industry. The main reason of DLP technology quickly released was that the success of competitive strategy. For Epson, has successfully held the market sharing with the cost advantage and business model. But with the success of LED light sources used in the projector, and 3D technology as well as the HD single source began to mature. It creates four new projection technology markets where provides the new business opportunities for LCOS and Laser Scan technology. The study includes four projection technologies, competition strategies from the total nine micro-display vendors. We reviewed these companies’ competitive strategy, core competencies, and correlation between the external environment, which based on the perspective of the technological competitive advantage as well as market orientation, and plus the analysis of SWOT and Porter’s Five Forces analysis and so on.
