本論文所討論的系統為慢速跳頻展頻多重存取(slow Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum Multiple Access, FH-SSMA)系統。展頻多重存取讓一個以上的使用者在同一時間內使用同一個頻寬來傳送資料,在傳送的過程中訊號遭受到Rayleigh fading、跳頻碰撞及熱雜訊的干擾而造成資料傳送錯誤,為了減低傳送錯誤,在本論文中利用渦輪碼(Turbo code)來保護跳頻展頻系統中的資料位元。然而渦輪碼解碼需要一些通道資訊,因此我們提出幾種估計通道資訊(衰落係數及解調變訊號變異數)的方法並利用估計出的通道資訊輔助解碼。由模擬結果得知,使用估計通道資訊的系統效能不致於和已知完整通道資訊下的系統效能相差太多。
In this thesis, the performance of turbo code is investigated in the slow frequency hopping spread spectrum multiple access (FH/SSMA) system with thermal noise and Rayleigh fading. When perfect side information is unavailable to the receiver, we propose four methods to estimate the variance of the signal and four methods to estimate the mean of the signal. Based on simulation results, we conclude that there is little difference between the performance with perfect side information and that without.
