摘要
摘 要 本文主旨在對西蒙•薇依的真理精神做探討，在她所處的時代，是思想激流匯集的時代，而薇依的思想資源則深具衝突與難協調的張力，在看似最沒有系統脈絡的思想體系中，卻形構出一種特殊的張力脈絡。薇依堅定的認為：「生活中沒有真理，毋寧死。」為了懂得閱讀薇依，就必須用獨特的眼光去閱讀，這一位早熟的思想天才。她就是一個充滿張力的薇依、一個背反的薇依、一個對立的薇依。她的思想，並不在一個穩定的容器裡、也不在一個光亮無瑕疵的容器裡。一個自由無羈的靈魂沒有容器。我們必須找到那些分裂的東西，用這些碎片，只有在拼湊的斷裂處才能辨識其中的肌理靈魂，窺探出她的真理精神。 在尋求真理的道路上，薇依親身體驗世界之真善美，與人世間的愛與不幸，用實踐力真正進入真理的範疇，清楚表達著她既執著又開敞的態度，就是個人參與意義生成的方式，呈現出獨一無二的和諧共性。茲就以下四點分述： 一、神秘主義思想與邏輯理性的相輔相成：宗教體驗與理性活動可結合成愛的注意力。 二、個體神秘信仰與政治參與的並行不悖：正義思想必須具備深厚的靈性基礎。薇依強調信仰的個體性，但不是成為隱士，而要成為追求正義的鬥士。 三、基督精神與真理精神的融合：薇依試圖打破神聖與世俗的二元對立，所以不管是愛他人、愛宗教禮儀、愛世界之美、愛科學藝術…，在靈魂與上帝直接接觸之後，這些事物才會成為真實的。 四、勞動是在愛中的一種真理精神呈現，正是通過勞動思想，普通人與天才都可以達到真理的王國。 關鍵字：真理精神、張力、愛、不幸、正義、神秘主義、勞動思想

Abstract This thesis is set to explore Simone Weil’s notion on the Spirit of truth. Living in an era of great intellectual expansion, she was eminent among philosophers and her thought was infused with tensility—special strands of thought in a seemingly unsystematic philosophical system. To comprehend Weil, a precocious prodigy who firmly believed life without truth is no longer desirable, a unique perspective is required. Weil’s profound tensility allowed her to reconcile conflicting concepts. Her ideas were not confined in a concrete container or a flawless and glistening vessel because a free soul can never be imprisoned. One must discover pieces of her insights and reconstruct them, study the composition of her soul from the cracks, and probe into her conception on the spirit of truth. In her quest for Truth, Weil personally experienced the truth, the goodness and the beauty of the creation, as well as the love and affliction of the human world, and penetrated to the realm of truth by action. With persistence and openness, her life is an unparalleled harmonious embodiment of personal involvement in construction of meaning. The discussion is divided into four parts： 1. The complementarity of mystical thought and logic: Religious experience and rational behaviors can be weaved into the attention which enables one to love God and the others. 2. The compatibility between individual mystical belief and political participation: Justice sprouts from the solid ground of spirituality. Despite her emphasis on the individuality of belief, Weil strived to be a fighter for social justice, rather than a singular hermit. 3. The fusion of Christianity and Spirit of truth: Weil tried to reconcile the dualism between divinity and secularity. Therefore, one’s love, be it for the others, religious rituals, the beauty of the world, or science and art, becomes true only after she has direct contact with God. 4. Labor as a manifestation of Spirit of truth in love: Through experienced labor, both ordinary people and geniuses can reach the kingdom of truth.
