本篇論文將介紹以具有相當大未來發展性的顯示器面板-OLED為基礎所進行的節省耗能之研究,我們對於兩個目前現有的基於OLED之節省耗能的演算法進行整合與優化,並且加入考慮多畫面的構想而提出整體之演算法,藉由考慮所處理的影片之整體畫面之間的平衡,同時降低節省耗能後的影像品質掉落,以此達到減少使用者在觀看時有閃爍的情形出現。本篇論文之演算法能實現對於影像進行影像增強處理,且同時達到省電率的控制,更重要的是能控制畫面間的差異,而實驗結果以Edge Score為數據比較指標,相較於目前現有的基於OLED之節省功耗演算法,我們所提出之演算法在目標省電率差不多的情況下,能達到更大的Edge Score數值,且各個畫面間的差異能有效的降低以及控制耗能。
This thesis will introduce a research of energy saving based on OLED which has high developmental potential. We integrate and optimize the two existing algorithms about energy saving which is based on OLED, and add the idea about consideration of the multiple frames to propose the overall algorithm. We expect the way that considering the overall video of the balance between all frames and reducing the lost about quality of the image after the energy saving can reduce the occurrence of flickering when the user is watching. The algorithm of this thesis can realize the image enhancement processing for the image, and the control of the power saving at the same time, more importantly, it can control the difference between all frames of the video. The results are compared by using the Edge Score. To compare with backlight dimming method base on OLED in current, the algorithm that we propose can get the higher Edge Score value with the same target power saving value, and the difference between the all frames can be reduced effectively.
