室內設計教育的課程結構分析:以台灣及美國三所院校為例

摘要


室內設計教育發展已有百年的歷史,然而在台灣,正式的室內設計教育發 展僅有35 年。面對科技的日新月异與室內設計人才的時代需求,國外的室內設 計教育課程規劃具有什麽特點?台灣當前主要的室內設計教育課程爲何?是否 能滿足培養人才所需的專業能力?就成為本研究的主要目的。研究先搜集主要學 校室內設計科系的應修課目,藉由「室內設計專業知識體系」(Interior Design Body of Knowledge)中的六個面向,分別檢視台灣中原大學、台南應用科技大學、美 國Pratt Institute 等三校室內設計系之育才理念及課程規劃。再經由焦點團體方法, 搜集學界與業界對台灣室內設計人才培養的意見:(一)要明確育才目標、(二) 要培養核心能力與基礎能力、(三)課程設計應多領域涉略、(四)應增加學生實 踐機會、(五)學分應合理安排、(六)有豐富的生活經驗、(七)應涉涉略不同 層面的文化。之後,依照「室內設計專業知識體系」的理想,就台灣的室內設計 課程結構,進行再設計提出建議方案。

The development of interior design education has a history of one hundred years, but in Taiwan, the development of formal interior design education has only been 35 years.Facing the rapid development of technology and the demand of interior design talents, what are the characteristics of foreign interior design education curriculum planning? What are the main interior design education courses in Taiwan? Can it meet the professional capabilities required to train talents? It becomes the main purpose of this research.The research first collects the required courses of the interior design departments of major schools, and uses the six aspects of the "Interior Design Body of Knowledge" to examine the Chung Yuan Christian University, Tainan University of Technology, and Pratt Institute in the United States. Wait for the education concept and curriculum planning of the interior design department of the three schools. Then through the focus group method, the opinions of the academic circles and the industry on the training of interior design talents in Taiwan should be collected: (1) The goal of educating talents should be clarified, (2) Core and basic abilities should be cultivated, (3) Curriculum design should cover multiple fields, ( Four) students should increase their practical opportunities, (5) credits should be arranged reasonably, (6) have rich life experience, (7) should involve different levels of culture.Afterwards, in accordance with the ideals of the "Interior Design Professional Knowledge System", the redesign of the interior design curriculum structure in Taiwan was carried out and suggestions were made.
