應用人工智慧對室內設計提案作業產生的影響

摘要


當前日益成熟的人工智慧技術對各個領域產生影響,隨著Midjourney和Stable Diffusion這類能夠快速提供設計方案的AI應用問世,甚至有藝術家利用AI生成的畫作贏得藝術獎項,這讓許多從事設計行業的人們對自己的未來感到擔憂。本研究的動機在於探討AI技術對室內設計提案作業的影響,特別是比較傳統設計方法與AI輔助設計方法之間的差異。目的在於了解人工智慧技術在室內設計提案過程中的實際應用情況,並探討其對設計效率、創意性及細節處理的影響;同時也為室內設計教育提供參考,探討AI工具在設計教學中的應用效果。研究方法採用實驗研究,利用Midjourney和LookX AI Cloud進行設計提案,並透過專家訪談了解設計師對這些工具的看法。以AI生成的效果圖進行提案,並訪談設計師比較其與傳統提案方式的差異。研究結果顯示:1.AI工具能夠根據輸入的關鍵詞或初步設計概念,快速生成相似的風格圖像和3D效果圖,節省設計師在初步設計階段所花費的大量時間;2.設計師普遍認為AI工具在生成效果圖方面具有實用性,但在邊界處理和材質表現上仍有改進空間;3.設計師需要適應和學習如何更好的使用這些工具,以克服其在細節控制和風格一致性上的不足;4.AI生成的效果圖在風格多樣性和細節處理上能夠達到業界標準,但在特定風格的表達和細節的精確度上,仍需要設計師進行二次調整;5. AI工具在設計教育中展現一定的影響力,可以幫助學生快速生成設計方案,提升學習效率。基於此,本研究建議設計師應學習和適應AI工具的使用,同時設計教育應強化AI技術相關課程,提升學生的技術素養,使其能夠更有效的應用AI工具進行設計。

The increasingly mature AI technology is impacting various fields. With the advent of AI applications like Midjourney and Stable Diffusion, which can quickly provide design solutions, some artists have even won art awards using AI-generated works. This development has caused concern among many professionals in the design industry about their future. The motivation for this research is to explore the impact of AI technology on interior design proposals, particularly comparing traditional design methods with AI-assisted design methods. The aim is to understand the practical application of AI technology in the interior design proposal process and to investigate its impact on design efficiency, creativity, and detail handling. This study also aims to provide a reference for interior design education by exploring the effectiveness of AI tools in design teaching.The research methodology adopts an experimental approach, using Midjourney and LookX AI Cloud for design proposals, and through expert interviews, understanding designers' perspectives on these tools. AI-generated renderings are used for proposals, and designers are interviewed to compare them with traditional proposal methods. The research results indicate that:1. AI tools can quickly generate similar style images and 3D renderings based on input keywords or initial design concepts, saving designers a significant amount of time in the early design stages.2. Designers generally find AI tools practical for generating renderings, but believe there is room for improvement in edge handling and material representation.3. Designers need to adapt and learn how to better use these tools to overcome their shortcomings in detail control and style consistency.4. AI-generated renderings can meet industry standards in terms of style diversity and detail handling, but specific style expression and detail accuracy still require secondary adjustments by designers.5. AI tools have shown a certain influence in design education, helping students quickly generate design solutions and improve learning efficiency.Based on this, the study recommends that designers learn and adapt to the use of AI tools. Meanwhile, design education should strengthen AI technology-related courses to enhance students' technical literacy, enabling them to apply AI tools more effectively in their designs.
